The Communications Regulatory Authority (RRT) has granted Repsense Trusted Flagger status under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA). NOOR lawyer Domantė Mozerytė prepared the application and advised the company throughout the RRT assessment process, helping demonstrate its compliance with the requirements for obtaining the status.
Trusted Flagger status is granted to organisations with particular expertise and competence in detecting, identifying and notifying illegal content online. Repsense has been recognised for its expertise in two related areas under the DSA: negative effects on civic discourse or elections, and risk to public security. Notices submitted by Repsense within these areas of expertise must be given priority by online platforms and processed and decided upon without undue delay.
To obtain the status, Repsense had to demonstrate its expertise and competence in detecting, identifying and notifying such illegal content, its independence from online platform providers, and its ability to submit notices diligently, accurately and objectively. The NOOR team helped substantiate these criteria in the application and supporting documentation and advised the client throughout the RRT assessment process until the status was granted.
Repsense is a Lithuanian technology company developing AI-powered solutions for analysing the information environment. Its technology helps analyse content circulating in the public sphere, monitor information campaigns and assess their impact. Repsense is the seventh organisation in Lithuania to be granted Trusted Flagger status.
