We defended freedom of speech and free press

Our team acted for the national broadcaster LRT in the court case to defend the freedom of speech and free press.

Laisvos visuomenės institutas – an NGO with the declared mission to protect families from LGBT+ – challenged before the court the TV broadcaster’s right to air a TV show on the LGBT parenting as being harming to minors and claimed that showing it in a positive light pushes minors towards homosexuality.

Being strong supporters of the freedom of speech and free press themselves,  partner Andrius Iskauskas and senior associate Greta Raulušonė represented LRT in the court case which, we believe, also due to our sincere efforts, dismissed the complaint.
