Representation at the London Chamber or Arbitration and Mediation

2018.09.01

Senior Associate Greta Raulušonė represented a client in arbitration case, examined in accordance with the rules of London Chamber or Arbitration and Mediation (LCAM) under the auspices of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The client’s intention for the dispute to be resolved in this arbitration institution was defended, although the arbitration clause was “pathological”, i. y. the contract referred disputes to a non-existent arbitration body. The case also raised issues related to the extension of the arbitration clause to non-signatories, the claims of the dispute arose from international trade transactions between companies operating in several different jurisdictions.

WINT is pleased to be able to represent clients in proceedings exceeding the limits of jurisdiction of the Republic of Lithuania.
