NOOR defended the interests of a gambling company

Our law firm successfully represented a licensed Lithuania-based gambling company in their dispute with the Lithuanian Gaming Control Authority. The client was accused of allegedly breaking the ban on encouraging consumers to partake in gambling, codified in the Gaming Law of the Republic of Lithuania.

The alleged violation was investigated in a hearing of the Gaming Control Authority’s advisory committee where the decision of issuing a fine and determining its size was discussed. During the hearing, together with our clients’ team, we successfully proved that no violation had been committed and all of the company’s actions had been lawful.
