Success in the case at the Supreme Court of Lithuania

In 2017 the firm successfully represented the FIDIC engineer UAB TAEM urbanistai before Vilnius Regional Court in proceedings against UAB Toksika with regard to the award of the debt in the amount of EUR 47,000 for maintenance services. The dispute lasted for several years. Vilnius Regional Court and the Court of Appeal of Lithuania had dismissed the client’s claim in its entirety, but in the Supreme Court of Lithuania we successfully proved that the customer, UAB Toksika, had the obligation to pay for the services actually rendered despite the expiry of the contract. Following these clarifications by the court of cassation, the Court of Appeal of Lithuania settled the dispute in favour of the client and upheld the claim.
