Head of the Banking and Finance Group, specialising in financing, regulation and compliance of financial institutions (credit, payment and other financial institutions, fund managers), capital markets, corporate governance, sustainability/ESG and private client wealth management. Agnė has more than 18 years of experience in structuring, managing and drafting complex cross-border and domestic financing transactions, representing clients in the establishment, licensing, governance and other regulatory and compliance matters of financial institutions.

A graduate of from Vilnius University (Master of Law), and with a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance Law (LL.M.) from Queen Mary College, University of London, Agnė has completed the Board Member and Chairman of the Board Programmes of the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance (BICG), the International Transactional Governance Programme of the Lex Mundi Institute (USA) and the Sustainable Governance Programme of the Swedish Institute.

She is the author of “Commentary on the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania” and co-author of the Lithuanian chapter in “The European Takeover Directive and its Implementation” (Oxford University Press).
