NOOR successfully represented the client in a contract termination dispute regarding waste container procurement in the Šiauliai region

We are pleased to have successfully represented our client in a civil case and prior negotiations concerning the termination of a waste container purchase agreement for the Šiauliai region. The case was of significant importance to both the client and the region, as timely delivery of high-quality containers was essential to secure EU funding and fulfill the EU’s requirements for proper biological waste management.

The agreement with TIS, UAB and Zweva Environment (a Belgian company) was terminated after the discovery of poor-quality containers. Following the termination, it was also revealed that the other party had provided a forged bank guarantee, leading NOOR to represent the client in related criminal investigation proceedings.

The case was successfully resolved in favor of our client in both the first and appellate instances.
