Ewelina Dobrowolska, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania, appointed Andrius Iškauskas, Partner at NOOR legal, a member of the Court of Honor of Advocates

As Andrius Iškauskas commented: “It is a great honor and even greater responsibility for me to become a member of the Court of Honor of Advocates. I will do everything in my power to make sure that advocates value ethics and morality more than law. Of course, I will be the happiest man when the Court of Honor of Advocates will have no topics on its agenda. This will be a very clear sign that the foundation of justice in Lithuania is solid.”

The Court of Honor of Advocates is a body of the Lithuanian Bar Association, which hears disciplinary cases initiated by the Bar Council and the Minister of Justice against advocates and advocates’ assistants. The Court of Honor of Advocates consists of members, who practiced as advocates for at least 10 years.

Andrius Iškauskas has worked as advocate for sixteen years, specialized in areas of technology law, data protection and intellectual property. Not only does he provide advice to clients but is also the Chairman of the Committee of Intellectual Property of the Lithuanian Bar Association, Chairman of the Commission of Ethics of the Lithuanian Business Confederation, arbitrator of Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration, arbitrator for disputes arising over .eu domains of the Czech Arbitration Court attached to the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic.
